About

I’m a Self-taught artist. I like to travel, and see new and inspiring places. I love trees, I also love the desert sunsets. The artist Georgia O’Keefe has been a great inspiration to me, I lived a good part of my youth in the southwest. I respect people and cultures that respect the Earth and Life. I have always wanted to sculpt in clay. Then I remembered when I was a youth a puppet kit, given as a gift, that used papier mache. I rediscovered papier mache all over again and love it.

CaaT is the acronym for Complementary Art and Things. It represents a group of artists & crafters from various backgrounds, creating in various mediums and styles, gathered together in order to support, promote, encourage and enjoy one another's art and company. .
Papier mache is a very versatile medium. It can be used to make most anything you can imagine, from a simple vase to a piece of furniture. I love to explore different mediums and techniques and taking something that is disposable and transforming it into something extraordinary. I like to try combining them such as incorporating papier mache into a collage or visa versa.
