Joy Olson's Profile

About

My mother and I made my first sewing project when I was 5: a drawstring purse out of a beautiful butterfly-print cotton. Years later, I'm still sewing, and I love to share my designs with others. My patterns and tutorials use couture techniques I studied in the fashion design program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I lived for 3 years in Paris, and Atelier Joy designs are inspired by the beautiful Parisian lifestyle. All tutorials include step-by-step instructions and photos to make your project a beautiful success.
