Cat Klinkert's Profile
I came to Alaska in the 1970's looking for adventure and a mountain man. I was lucky enough to find both. I live in the Bush (remote) and I enjoy the subsistance life-style, no distractions except for the deer, wolves and black bears wandering across the homestead. I have been involved in art since my teens. Alaska has given me the opportunity to expand my imagination and the abundance of materials available is astounding (ivory, antler, wood, soapstone, marble, seashells, wildflowers, and other natural materials). My variety of artwork includes but not limited to jewelry, altered art, sandpaintings, etching, story baskets, collages, scrapbooking, pottery, carving, and photgography.
I am now living at the edge of woods- where art meets nature.
