Carolyn Shepard Miller is a lifelong artist whose talents span not only the years but also art forms and media. After working as a metalsmith and owning a successful Etsy shop for many years, Ms. Miller decided to return to her true passion: painting. Ms. Miller studied graphic arts at Northern Virginia Community College and art history at George Mason University.

Her multi-generational uncle and cousins are depicted in the oil painting informally known as The Family, titled Bellelli Family by Edgar Degas, 1858-1867

In February and March of 2015 her paintings were exhibited in the Waverly Street Gallery 20+20 show in Bethesda, MD.
