About

Welcome to my collection of art work captured through the years of my career as a professional photographer. I am Jennifer, a second generation wedding photographer who started out as my mother's assistant. She is one of the most talented people I will ever know! I am so inspired by her creativity and am very grateful that she shared her love of photographing people with me. As my business continued to grow, my husband joined me and we became a family of photographers. He is an exceptional photographer with a very creative eye. All my canvas prints are hand crafted by him. We print in-house using our own printers. Every wood stretcher bar is cut and nailed together by him, every staple is put into place by him and the canvas material is hand stretched by him. I can honestly say that from idea, to photograph, to print, to finished product, my art is "handmade" in every aspect! We continue to work many weddings and exciting events…

We continue to work many weddings and exciting events together as a family. Photographing a number of destination weddings over the years has resulted in international travels which is where all of the travel art in my store was photographed. My images are my personal memories of places I love.. places I want to remember. They are more than just pictures; rather, they all hold special memories. Some are from "photo field trips" with my mom and husband. Many have funny stories about the hoops that had to be jumped through to get the perfect shot. I have been writing about the story behind the photographs in many of the individual listings. I hope you find them amusing and that they give you a glimpse into my life and how much love goes into my photography.

After I have shot a collection of photos, I eagerly browse through them on my computer. My editing process is highly detailed and I am extremely picky. I love graphic design and can spend hours on my editing. My assistant editor, Cooper, (Ok, truth be told, he is my adorable kitty!) often puts in his two cents into the editing work by walking on my keyboard. He provides good company and likes to tell me its break time when he plops down onto my mouse so I can no longer work.

The art side of my business began unfolding when I started shooting photos in which I intended would be for personal use only on the walls of my own home. The ball started rolling from there. A winery called on me to produce a collection of wine art, then I continued adding more and more to my art inventory. I am so honored that my art is now gracing the walls of my customer's homes, commercial buildings and local wineries. My very talented friend, Christine from Back Bay Pottery (BackBayPottery.etsy.com), heads a very successful handmade pottery business. She offered to coach me to start my own store so I can continue to expand my art audience beyond local reach… and thats how I joined the Etsy family!

I hope you found my store by clicking on a piece of art that caught your eye. That makes me feel so happy that someone wanted to see more. I thank you for being so kind to give me your time to read about me and I invite you to browse through the rest of my collection of art. Please drop me a line sometime, I'd love to hear from you!
