Personal History

Hey! I'm Azi, a compulsive knitter and senior at UNC Chapel Hill. I LOVE crafts and artwork of all kinds (you can check out my deviantart account here: http://azizriandaoxrak.deviantart.com/), but I'm particularly addicted to knitting. I simply can't resist buying something when walking past a crafts store! Fortunately, that means I have a wide variety of fun beads and buttons to choose from, and a collection of yarns I just can't knit through fast enough!

I've lived up and down the East Coast of the United States, but I currently live in North Carolina, whose artistic community has really inspired me. I'm a particular fan of Asheville's handmade crafts, and I absolutely LOVE their bead stores! I make sure to travel into downtown Asheville anytime I'm in the area just to make sure I haven't missed any new ones…

About My Products and Shop

Right now, the majority of my products are knitted, however I do also have a few jewelery pieces. In my knitting, I try to choose good-quality yarns based on what they will be used for; softer, mostly natural fibers for clothing (for comfort), and blends with synthetic fibers for handbags or common-use items (for durability).

My business is small at present. My current goal is to save up enough money to make myself a vintage-style, fair-isle sweater, but I am hoping to expand past that. I enjoy knitting for its own sake, so I am happy to share my creations. For now, the only products I post are products that are already made, so you will not have to wait for me to finish them. In future, however, and particularly as I get requests, I may open up into customizable products.

I happily accept feedback. Simply click on the "contact" link on my profile page!
