The bike accessory maker Biken was founded by product designer Ken Sugimoto. Ken has 20 years experiences as a product designer in both Japan and the US.
Ken has been addicted to biking since he got his first bike at the age of 8, and he enjoyed cycling and remodeling bicycles in Japan. When he moved to Austin, Texas, Ken was excited to join the street biking community and meet new friends who shared his passion for the sport.
After moving to southern California, Ken also had a chance to participate in mountain biking. He began applying his experience as a product designer to create cycling-related accessories for everyday use and touring .
One of the key features of Biken products is ingenuity. Using bike parts, genuine leather, and quality fabrics, Biken's original products are uniquely designed to look good and work well.
