BeckyZee is the product of a lifelong love affair with clay that started in 7th grade when I sat down at my first potter's wheel. Even though it took me six weeks to learn how to make anything, I got totally hooked on clay!

Over the next 20 years, I managed to buy or borrow enough equipment to build my very own studio. My first pieces were just gifts for friends and fun little projects. After a while, I started accumulating more pots than I had a use for, so I put them on Etsy. That turned out to be a good move for two reasons. The first, of course, is that I managed to sell some of my work. The second is that I received all kinds of feedback in the form of getting "favorites" on my pieces or my shop. Custom orders guided my hand, too; many items in my shop started out as a request from an interested shopper.
