I am a professional chef , who has a passion for beading. I started beading when I was a teenager, close to 40 years ago. Over the years I have done other forms of arts/crafts, from painting & stamping, to pottery. In June of 2009, my mother Maureen, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I started making bracelets at this time because I wanted to make something that would honor and support my mother during her illness. I have expanded my line of bracelets to include non-cancer awareness and girls bracelets, known as Boogs Bracelets too.

"Boogs" was a nickname that my grandfather gave to my mother when she was a little girl. Since I started doing this, because of my mother, it was only fitting that I name the line of bracelets after her.
