About

Rescuing honeybees one hive at a time...
It began with two women who shared a love for gardening and tending to their bees. Banding together to save honeybees from extermination, and aiming to educate our neighbors about the pivotal role these little pollinators play in our daily lives, Backyard Bees blossomed into a full service rescue and relocation program. Committed to keeping it local, and using sustainable beekeeping practices to keep hives healthy, Backyard Bees hopes to help change the endangered path of the honeybee, and present an alternative to the modern commercial beekeeping and chemically treated honey operations.
