Having been raised by two incredibly talented and artistic parents, It was kind of a given that I would also follow that path. Born and raised in North Yorkshire, England, I made the move to California chasing dreams! I was fortunate to work for a film and theatrical company, painting theater sets, movie sets, expo's and when we were lucky helping with the famed Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach when they were in a pinch for time! These incredible experience offered me a learning in making sheets of wood look like scenes, castles, forests, rusty oil tankers you name it we painted it! Big, messy and super fun! After moving on from that chapter I opened my own specialty painting business, taking all the lessons with me. Faux painting trompe l'eoile and murals were my specialty, I painted regular walls to look like marble, Stencilled ceilings, painted a bedroom to look like a ruined castle with gargoyles to name but a few!! Faux painting a kitchen I was asked, by my client, to make her plaster seal look more realistic...No prob! Heck I've even fauxed a pair of favorite shoes that were badly scuffed!! There are literally no boundries with paint and a good imagination!
These days after moving to the beautiful Island of Kauai I am able to paint all that is inspiring here, and there is all lot!! I enjoy a wide variation of subject, color and mood. I like experimenting with different materials, playing around!
Please keep a look out for new items and collections as i like to stay BUSY!! if there is a paticular special something that you are looking for, But can't find, Please contact me, Always up for doing a custom!!
