Oh, to do my life over. I'd keep the husband and kids, and the cats, of course, but the career? Well that I would change. For one, I wouldn't be working in an office. So, rather than toil in misery, I have created for my spare time an alternative universe to pursue my real passions.

My affinity for working with my hands came from my Aunt Rita (consummate seamstress, furniture refinisher and chef) who gave me my first craft lesson in liquid embroidery. (I don't think that's around anymore.) Since those tender years, I have explored crochet, needle arts, and other crafts, finally alighting on polymer clay. I have been making jewelry since my teen years, and discovering polymer clay has been my inspiration for the designs you find in my shop.

I am untrained, except for a basic course in jewelry making where I set me shirt on fire! So I guess I am what is considered a folk artist, although I use that term in all humility. I am constantly learning and studying and trying.
