Through my shop, BeaKez, I aim to provide people with one of a kind, handmade pieces. I make bohemian, indie and tribal themed necklaces, bracelets and earrings. The materials I use are mainly sources from Etsy and include semi precious stones such as turquoise and coral, and various other materials like wood, bone, hemp and leather. I use sterling silver for the hooks and pins of earrings, and particularly like working with oxidized sterling silver.

I also hand sculpt animal miniatures, from polymer clay. Each little animal has its own character. I imagine these miniatures being placed in little secret areas around the house, for people to come across by chance. Through my shop, BeaKez, I aim to provide people with one of a kind, handmade pieces. I make bohemian, indie and tribal themed necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I also hand sculpt animal miniatures, from polymer clay. Each little animal has its own character. I imagine these miniatures being placed in little secret areas around the house, for people to come across by chance. I prefer to blend the clay to the shade I need, rather than paint on the clay and I leave the clay unvarnished, because I like the texture of “naked” baked clay.

As the beads I use are not mass produced in moulds, they all vary in shape, shade and texture. I also have a limited supply of each bead type, so most of the pieces I make cannot be recreated. I believe that one of the main things that attracts people to buying handmade items is the knowledge that they are getting something truly unique. Therefore, I do not make duplicates of any of my jewelry. I do, however, make items that are similar. But there will always be a fundamental difference.

I hope you enjoy browsing my shop. You can always follow me on facebook and twitter, for information on new items and upcoming sale events. If you see something you like, but want to personalize it in some way, please contact me and I will do my best to help! If you have any other questions, please also feel free to send me a message.

I would like to thank everybody in advance for including my items in their treasury lists. It gives me great pleasure to see them all. I do take the time to view every treasury list that includes my work.
