About

So many beads, so little time.... I began seriously beading in Tulsa, Oklahoma, about 18 years ago with The Bead Merchant, where I learned traditional bead handweaving.

While in Tulsa, I also learned about American Indian pow-wow etiquette and began to go to pow-wows regularly. If you love seedbeads, there is no finer display of them than what you will see during the Grand Entry at a pow-wow!

A defining moment in my beadwork career came unexpectedly, several months after a private showing of my jewelry in San Antonio. Strolling down the street was one of my customers from that show, wearing the earrings she had bought from me. It was a rush to see them appreciated! Success doesn’t get any better than that.

Etsy is a new adventure and I’m glad I’m here!
