Beadmarkers' Profile

About

Hi! My name is Karen, and for more than 25 years, knitting has been my passion. I especially love working with wool, and I always have an aran sweater as well as a sock or two on the needles.

I've been making beaded stitch markers for more than eight years now, and I enjoy sharing my products with other knitters. Animal beads are my main interest, but you'll see many other types of focal beads in my collections, too. In 2011 I added project bags to the shop. Because I sew these for the joy and whimsy of using different fabrics, many bags will be one or just a few of a kind--nothing like too much repetition to take the fun out of things! Do you have a request for a custom fabric? Send me a convo and I'll do my best to find the perfect fabric for you!

Yes, I'm happy to do custom markers. I have hundreds of bead styles, so if you don't see what you want, write! Loop sizes are customizable, and I have hook or claw clasps available for making row markers at no extra charge. I never use jump or split rings, so you can be sure the markers won't snag your work. I'm also open to swapping, especially for sock yarn, so let me know if you're interested in a trade.

Duncan and Suzie Shelties appreciate your business as some of the proceeds go to their Milk Bone fund. McGee, Roger, and Flynn Guinea Pigs are firm believers that the best things in life are free, namely delicious clover and fresh green grass, so they are oblivious to any knitting or beadwork. They do keep me company as I sew, and my machine is set up not too far away from their refrigerator. Every time I rattle a plastic bag, they squeak for food as the bag *must* have come from the fridge! :-)

All items are made in a smoke-free, but obviously not pet-free, environment.
