Welcome to my Etsy Shop BanglesBaubles.

I grew up in the North western part of the US. Idaho, Wyoming and Oregon.

My dad was a rock hound and my brothers and I were subjected to rock hunting in Wyoming. We would find jade, agates and arrow heads (when it was legal to take items off the ground.) However, my brothers often got sidetracked looking for horny toads. I liked the look of all of the stones. My Dad would tumble them until they were beautiful.

I started making jewelry in 2010. Since I am person who needs to process before I create, my shop changes slowing with time. I get ideas and then gather everything I need before I start to make new items to add to my shop. Then I block out time to just make all kinds of jewelry.

About

*************** I also will create on the spur of a moment. ************************

I like to get my inspiration through findings and beads I have gathered from different vendors and find that I have bought things that actually fit together without my knowing I bought items that work really well together. If I like an item somewhere, I figure there is a reason I am drawn to the item and get home and realize it goes perfect with other items. I sort items into containers I want to make into a piece and then I begin the process.

I don't claim one branding style. I lean towards learning new techniques and trying them out. If I like what I've made I will post it. Sometimes I take an item I have made and redo it as my skills improve and I am willing to take more risks in my designs, but still be true to who I am.

Besides making jewelry I like to shop at second hand stores, thrift stores, garage sales for unique items that can be changed to wearable art/jewelry.
