About

Welcome to my Etsy store! I am Jodi of Beadworx.com. I am an artist living in sunny Arizona! I love spending time with my family and friends, I love spending time outdoors, and I love spending time in my home studio!

I enjoy working with hot glass (or lampworking/glass blowing), stained glass work, metal-smithing, jewelry design, wood working/turning, pyrography, crochet, tie-dye, painting, and many other medias of artworking.

I love creating! Nothing compares to being able to wake up and head to my studio and try to manifest with my hands what I dream about in my mind! I light my incense, turn on my nature music, and get lost in the creation process! It truly is Heaven on Earth for me and I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for the talents He has given me and for the chance He has given me to follow this artistic path!
I also thank my dear…

I also thank my dear customers who have been by my side all these years. Thank you for buying handmade! Thank you for supporting my artwork!! I sincerely and truly appreciate you!

I take pride and pleasure in handmaking my unique art pieces using a variety of techniques and components. I love working with top quality findings such as Sterling Silver and precious gemstones, but also love working with found objects from our Mother Earth! I have a background of 20+ years in designing my creations. My artwork has been show-cased in several books and magazines both here in the U.S. as well as Australia.

Some things you may find available in my store are: hand torched perfume vessels, hand torched beads, driftwood faery wands and faery doors, drift wood windchimes, hand crocheted scarfs, deerskin medicine pouches, a variety of jewelry creations, polymer clay items, unique hair adornments, and many other fun items! I also do custom work!

I LOVE to trade with my fellow artisans! So don't be afraid to ask! I have traded for all kinds of things! I love to support other artists this way! (And it is a nice way to treat myself when I can't afford to go on a shopping spree!). I have always said if I ever come by a windfall of money, I would buy every single thing in my "favorites" section! And I would!
Please be understanding and take no offense if I am not able to use all trade offers that come my way. But my philosophy on trading, is "It never hurts to ask"!

I have listed answers to some frequently asked questions:

Q. What is lampwork?
A. "Lampwork" is a term given to the ancient art of hot glass working. (It has nothing to do with lamps, haha). In ancient times small oil lamps, (like the genie lamps we all know), were used for the source of the flame and fire to melt the glass. Today we use specially designed torches for this, which allows for faster melting of the glass and more control.

All of my handmade glass items have been properly kiln annealed for strength and durablity. I use only the highest quality Italian glass, as well as precious stones, and Sterling and Bali silver, and Copper in my creations.

Q. What types of payments do I accept?
A. I accept payments for my items by Paypal if the customer has a confirmed address. I can ONLY ship to the confirmed address provided with the Paypal payment.

I also accept money orders for those who do not have a confirmed address through Paypal or do not have a Paypal account.

Q. Do I ship internationally?
A. YES, but the buyer must contact me for the shipping price so that I can create a customized invoice, as the prices listed are for USA shipping only. The international buyer must have a confirmed address through Paypal in order to pay through Paypal, or I also accept international money orders.

Q. What are the shipping charges?
A. Shipping for USA only, is a flat rate depending on the item. This rate will include first class mail with delivery confirmation, (and it will also include insurance if the purchase is more then $20.00).
For international shipping, please email me for a shipping quote.

Q. How will my items be packaged:
A. All orders are packaged very safely and securely with bubble wrap, tissue paper, and in boxes for larger items, or bubble envelopes for smaller less fragile items. Packages on items over $20.00 are also insured within the USA, for extra shipping protection. All packages shipped in the USA will also have delivery confirmation.

Your item will be gift wrapped and come in a gift organza bag, if it will fit in one.

Q. Do I offer combined shipping?
A. Yes, I do combine on shipping!
For combined shipping charges on international packages, please contact me for a quote.

Q. When do I ship my packages?
A. I try to ship packages the following business day after payment has been recieved. I am generally at the post office Mondays or Fridays as well.

For any other questions or comments you might have, please feel free to contact me.

I hope you enjoy taking a look around.
Thank you!
