About

As a transplant from Illinois, I moved to the mountains of Colorado for 11 years. While
there, a jewelery class conducted by Audrey Forcier, now a NY jewelry designer and highly gifted in her profession, needed an extra student, so I finally relented! That's all it took . . . . I was hooked!

I lived with my boxer, Sophie, my protector and best friend. I was closer to Santa Fe's art galleries, the Indians under the portal, and the annual Indian Market, where, again, I would be artistically inspired. They were my friends.

Well, can't believe it, but after 3 years in spiritual Taos, and all my Pueblo Tewa Indian friends, and my adopted Indian family, who also inspired me in my work, my boxer and I moved back to Illinois. Must be delusional!! Horrible weather; especially the storms and tornado warnings!! It was time, and no excuses, to be closer to my son, friends and relatives once again. Hmmmm, I'm now realizing how much I miss New Mexico . . . a mistake I have to live with. Maybe some day I'll go back.
It's now 2016, and my precious boxer, Sophie, has passed away on April 10th. She is now at peace, but my grief goes on.
