Beate has been designing clothes since childhood, fueled by a desire to create unique, timeless, elegant, and specifically well stuctured garments. After graduating from Vassar as a theater major and studying fine art in Paris, Beate worked as a designer for dance, opera and theater in New York City. Her invlovement with the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, gave her first hand experience working with true Haute Couture and historical garments. It took a transformation into becoming a fulltime wife and mother as well as a move to Los Angeles, for her to launch her first collection.
The collection sold to finer stores throughout the United States as well as abroad dedicated to sophisticated and elegant couture.
