"Becca's Place" is where I can showcase my personal art. I love to work in a variety of mediums; watercolor, prisma pencil, brush pen, ink....sometimes, I draw, sometimes I paint, sometimes I combine a medley of materials.
It's fun, relaxing and a wonderful creative adventure to go to my favorite spot and see what happens.

I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese 'sumi-e' and chinese 'shui-mo hua' paintings. I am currently obsessed with bamboo. I love it and can't get enough of it's beauty. There are endless ways to…

There are endless ways to interpret it's form, movement, color and aura. I am working on a 'Beauty of Bamboo' series.

My professional background is 20 years in the animation industry, most of those years have been spent at Walt Disney Feature Animation. I trained at Disney under the guidance of Eric Larson. During my years at Disney, I worked as an animator, asst. animator, storyboard artist and animation development. My list of credits include: "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "Mickey's Christmas Carol", "The Fox and the Hound", "Lady and the Tramp II - Scamps Adventure". I was also a Directing Animator on "The Brave Little Toaster"; animator on "The Chipmunk Adventure". Below is a link to my IMDB (International Movie Data base) page info:

I also design and make jewelry using a variety of vintage, antique and unusual buttons which I collect and find at yard sale, thrift stores, friends attics, flea markets and sometimes in the trash. No button should go ignored. I mostly make bracelets but lately, I've also been making button brooches. My favorite challenge, is custom making jewelry upon request. I will use your own personal button treasures and create a bracelet or brooch. Everyone has buttons that belonged to their mother or grandmother or aunt. Why not take them out of the drawer and wear them as a beautiful custom made piece. Memories should be kept close at hand and near the heart not stashed away in a jar or drawer or box. Your old buttons tell a story. Let's turn them into a treasure to
wear.
