Having retired after more than 25 years of practice in clinical psychology, Dr. Beth Grosshans maintains an active speaking and consulting schedule. In this capacity, she has toured throughout the country to meet with groups ranging from clinicians to early education professionals, such as those in the Montessori School system. Dr. Beth Grosshans is also the author of the book Beyond Time-Out, which was published in 2010. Most recently, she has written the opening chapter in the forthcoming anthology on parenting titled Raising Great Parents.

She received her PhD in clinical child psychology at the Ohio State University. Dr. Grosshans later completed intensive immersion training at the New England Education Institute under Habib Davanloo, MD.

Dr. Beth Grosshans is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Psychology and the American Psychological Association. In addition, she supports the Planned Parenthood Foundation and contributes her time to the Metropolitan Opera as an advisory board member.
