BTW - "Bingata" is a centuries-old fabric dying technique developed in Okinawa Japan, when it was known as the Ryuku Kingdom. Stencils are used in a resist-dying technique of great detail and beauty, using many bright colours and traditionally natural subjects such as birds, flowers, water and trees.
