KW Richardson's Profile

About

When I was 10 my mother wouldn't let me take trumpet lessons. She told me I wouldn't stay with it. She was right. I became a banjo player. I worked with clay in the 90's. I made functional stoneware pottery. Birdbaths and bird feeders came next. Stands were needed, so I learned how to weld. Welding led to furniture and sculpture. Found objects, woodworking and leather entered the mix. As you can see, my shop reflects a variety interests and materials. I use whatever media suits the project and my frame of mind. I can't imagine working any other way. It sure has been a fine ride!
