If you are a nuno felter, potential nuno felter, or just curious about the process, I welcome covos from you. I don't consider them "spam" as Etsy's rule book says, so please feel free to write to me with questions, comments, or shop talk.
I love to exchange ideas with people, and I don't mind telling you about a process or technique I use.
I feel we all need to share information for creativity to grow, and I am not threatened by your learning how to nuno felt, and becoming great at it!
I know some find it hard to share knowledge and experience with others, because they think it will make them a little less unique somehow, but I don't see it that way.
If we were all a little less competitive, and protective the creativity could flow much more easily.

Hello everyone, my name is Terri Pike. I live in Orlando, Florida with my husband and two Dachshunds.

I love fiber art and textiles and find them so compelling. I have a weakness for beautiful things made with fabrics, yarns, wool, silk, and thread.

I have been focused on nuno felting since 2008, and have been in love with the craft ever since.
I pride myself on using only the finest materials I can find. 100% wool and 100% silk. Nothing is more luxurious on your skin!
My wool of choice is Merino which is NOT itchy or scratchy at all.... but fluffy, soft and light.
I named my shop "Blind Squirrel" after the old saying "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally," meaning that everyone gets lucky occasionally!

If you are interested in felting, I have tutorials at my site:

My other Etsy shop is TheQuirkySquirrel
