I was introduced into the world of photography by accident. While enrolled in a high school journalism class, my teacher asked if I would be interested in being the photographer for the school newspaper and yearbook. Before then, I recall an episode of "Dif'rent Strokes" that involved Arnold developing photographs in a room with the red safe-light on. From that memory and the urging of Mrs. Lynch, my fascination with photographs suddenly began.
In 1997, I earned a degree in Art Education from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and worked as an Art Teacher for three years until I earned my Masters Degree in Higher Education.
