About

Thanks so much for checking out my store!

I can't remember if it was my Mom or Grandma that first taught me to sew, but we did a lot of when I was growing up. I spent countless hot summer days paintstakingly fumbling through patterns for air freshener dolls (it was the 80's) and stuffed animals, but my big passion was making Madonna-esque barbie outfits.

In college I had a brief stint with some calculus classes and immediately changed my major to Studio Art. Unfortunately, there was no emphasis on Barbie Fashion Design so I ended up becoming a painter. Since then I've worked as a muralist, helped design and decorate Halloween stores of department store stature, lived in Hawaii and have finally found my happy place in my loft studio in San Diego, making vintage inspired decor and accessories for Bloom & Barnacle.
