About

I have been a “fiber freak” for just about as long as I can remember. I grew up in a creative family which involved learning to sew, quilt, and embroidery from both my mother and grandmother. In fact, I still use my grandmothers sleeve ironing board to press every seam on my bags. I started sewing when I was about 9 years old. Which means I have been sewing for let’s see, oh my, that’s too scary to even think of… anyway, a long time. I joined my love for knitting and spinning with my sewing skills and came up with a knitting bag design.
I purchase 99% of my supplies from local or private owned and operated suppliers. I try VERY hard to not support "big box" business. Just my way of paying it forward, I suppose.
When I'm not at the sewing machine, you will find me cherishing the time with my adorable grand children, spinning, knitting, cooking, or in the warm months, gardening.
