As a collector and a maker, I am always engaged in the creative process in one way or another. I draw, paint, stitch, work with clay, travel, explore; always with a camera in hand and an empty bag to make room for my new finds. Inspiration is everywhere and I never take for granted the potential of a place or thing to steer my thoughts in a new direction. As a collector of vintage paraphernalia, that creative spark is often ignited by the patterns, patinas and textures found in well worn objects. I love the story a vintage object tells and I believe for those who care to listen, that story unfolds in the hand of the collector who rescues it from obsolescence.
