I've been making lampwork beads over 11 years. Each day I open the kiln with anticipation, wondering what reactions and colors the glass will bring. I offer unique beads, many one of a kind. I create with my own voice and really try to be different. When I first started making beads my husband would get very exasperated with me as none of the beads I made looked like the pretty ones other beadmakers were making. I made a lot of ugly beads but the experimentation paid off as I learned so much during that time. Glass is an exciting medium and I feel very fortunate to be able to make what I want and offer artisan beads to my customers at fair prices.
I try to make beads that can be recreated. But sometimes I just play, and those beads are one of a kind. Have fun browsing my store!
