About

I sell vintage fashion and patterns at Antiques Unlimited in San Carlos, California. Etsy lets me share my vintage patterns with a wider audience. I'm also a documentary photographer and filmmaker specializing in artist portraits, including films about Frank Kozik and FAILE. http://www.annanewmangroup.com.

I learned to sew as a little girl, watching my mother carefully cut out patterns and fabric with her heavy pinking shears on our tiled kitchen counter. Somehow she was able to cut both the pattern and the fabric at the same time and not mess up. I'm not that brave. I lost my mom a long time ago, and sewing keeps me feeling connected to her.
