Belle's Profile

About

With a BA in Apparel Design and a Minor in Costume Design, Belle has had the opportunity to design costumes for some 25 plays or musicals over the last 18 years, several ballets, independent film, and a magic show.

This line is the culmination of 20 years of honing my craft, experimenting with modern styles and materials, and just being in love with dressing heads.
With the exception of my recycled hats, all of my hats are hand blocked, or hand sewn by me. If I do not use a vintage pattern, I have drafted the patterns myself also.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it , thank you for looking.

In addition to her work as a designer, Belle and her husband raise and show Irish Wolfhounds. We are currently owned by three IW's, and two Salukis...my husband wants to hold the line at a quarter ton of dog.
We drive them all to dog shows, lure coursing, and other doggy type events in our old Hearse. Life is interesting!!
