About

Welcome to BowMo! I am so excited to be sharing some of my creations with friends on Etsy. I answer to a number of names – Mo, Mojo, MoMo or just Diane. Having been blessed with a wonderful husband and three absolutely awesome children, I am now a retired elementary school teacher and have always loved creating and designing all kinds of things. I used to love to paint and then loved sewing and crocheting, making clothes for all three of our children when they were little. Our two boys (grown up now) still can not believe that they had to wear look alike outfits when they were little (ugh!).

About eight years ago, I began designing wedding items when our daughter was planning her wedding. About eight years ago, I began designing wedding items when our daughter was planning her wedding. I could not believe how much I enjoyed making veils, table decorations, flower girl baskets, and ring bearer pillows. When my daughter admired a beautiful satin mailbox for wedding gift cards in a magazine, I thought, “I just might be able to make that.” So I did and it got so many compliments as well as requests for duplicates from friends. Since then, I have made veils and goodies for my daughter’s friends, family, and even a couple of my student teachers. Now that I have become a grandmother, I have found a new love . . . (other than my granddaughter) . . . making things for babies and little girls, especially hair bows and tutus. Seeing the smiles from brides-to-be and seeing little girls love wearing their tutus and bows have made my hobby turn into joy . . . and a business. Could there possibly be anything cuter than a little girl transforming into a little princess as she parades around in her tutu? Our granddaughter loves her tutus. My son-in-law texted a picture to me when our little princess wanted to wear all of her tutus at the same time. It was hysterical . . . but she was a very serious princess. There’s nothing like doing what you love to do . . . especially when my husband keeps me motivated and helps in every way possible.

So enjoy my shop!
