About

Bowtique Mama began at my kitchen counter when I decided to make a "starter set" of bows for a friend who was having a baby. I had long been making bows for my own daughter. In fact, my friends might tell you I bred for bows, but that's a whole other story. Listening to the excitement from my friend when she received her bows gave me the idea to try selling them.

I love ribbon. I hoard ribbon like most women hoard shoes. The more bows I can put on an outfit, the more excited I am to make it. I have over 150 spools of ribbon on my shelves; and yes, I get in trouble with the hubby for my "ribbon splurges." Prior to staying at home with my children, I was a third grade teacher. I have always had a passion for bows, but never knew when I left teaching, it would turn into more. My business started with hair bows and grew quickly from there. I find it an honor that people choose me to help with the perfect gift or outfit for their baby to come home from the hospital in. I hope you will stop by my shop and have a peek; I would love to help you create the perfect gift.
