Lynne Byrne's Profile

About

I live on a rural acreage consisting of 23 ha. I am retired and enjoy the quietness of the bush.

I have done many crafts over the years, but these last ten years have been spinning and working with different fibers. I really love the natural feeling of Wool . I enjoy using fine fibers and blends of silk. I hand card the fiber ready for spinning. I enjoy the challenge of the cob web fiber and the knitting, making the items so light but still warm when worn.

I belong to a Macleay Spinners and Weavers, a group that has been going for over 40 years. We enjoy meeting each week and the opportunity to learn new techniques.

Out town consists of 28,000 people in our valley which stretches over many kilometers.
