About

I am an addicted-to-fabric homeschooling mom! I love freehand quilting small quilts on my old Bernina 830 sewing machine which I got from my Grandma. I also am the oh-so-tickled owner of a vintage 1896 Singer 31-15 long-arm quilting machine that sits on a 12-foot quilting frame and can hold a king-sized quilt. She is electric and has a speed regulator, in case you're wondering!

You'll find a mix of quilts in my shop as I venture through the patterns that have only been in my head or on my shelf for a long time.

Custom quilts have become the heart of my shop, and I would love to make one for you!

You have the freedom to choose the quilt pattern, size, and fabrics, and I'll put them together for you, creating a lasting family heirloom. I am happy to help you with fabric selections and can give suggestions on colors and collections. Your quilt is not limited to patterns you see in my shop! I can make many quilt patterns in any size from table runner to king.

I use only quilt-shop quality fabrics so your quilt will last for a long time, even with regular use. These fabrics cost between $9 and $12 per yard, and this is the main reason why my handmade quilts have a higher price tag than others made with lesser-quality materials.

I appreciate each one of you who stops by my shop. Maybe today I don't have the exact quilt you are looking for, but I might next week! If you have a specific idea or deadline in mind, I am more than happy to make custom items for you.

Please add my shop to your Favorites. This will help you remember where you saw that "really darling quilt" when you are ready to purchase one.

All items in my shop are proudly made by me in the U.S.A. Please support the U.S. economy and shop locally. My shop is a true cottage industry.

Thank you sew much!
Myra~
