I've done crafty things off and on as long as I can remember. I did paint-by-numbers, cross-stitch, crewel, crocheting, and sewing. My first beaded projects were Christmas ornament kits where you put beads on straight pins and stuck them into covered styrofoam balls in a pattern. Does anyone else remember those?

I graduated to making jewelry with real beads in 1992 and kept going. Now I have a lot of beads and love to create little bits of wearable art with beads, wire and sheet metal. Lately I’ve been adding color to metal by torch-firing enamel and by applying various types of patinas.
