About

I have been selling my art on Etsy since 2008, and have been selling my art on eBay since 1991, also under the name Carpiss .

Most of my life I have been predominately an equine/horse artist. I remember drawing at an early age and studied art in high school and in college at California State College in Long Beach. With over 30 years experience training horses, I have developed even a greater appreciation for their elegance and beauty. In the last several years I have done many other subjects, but have found I love doing birds, cats, dragons, Pegasus, ravens & unicorns the best, and of course, always horses!

I am a proud member of the Etsy "Whoa Horse Artists Group". To find our team members' artwork and products, just type: 'whoa team' in the search box. To validate the authenticity of an item, legitimate 'WHOA TEAM' members will be listed under…

The main media I work in is acrylic & watercolors; but I also do oils, pen & ink, charcoal, conte’, prismacolor pencils and graphite. My main support is acrylic & watercolor paper also using canvas, illustration board, multimedia board, and Bristol papers.

Sizes range from miniatures to 16” x 20” with the most common size being the ACEO (Art Card Editions and Originals only in the size of 2 ½” x 3 ½”). ACEO’s are an inexpensive and affordable way to collect genuine, originals works of art. They can be framed singularly or in a group, or displayed in any standard trading card album. I also do original art bookmarks which are laminated with or without tassels. Both make wonderful gifts! I also do limited edition prints and reproductions (bookmarks).
