Cathy Hillegas' Profile

About

I did not intend to become an artist when I signed up for a watercolor class in 1993. I was hooked from the very beginning and fell in love with the transparency, the glow, and the unpredictability of watercolor. Many classes, workshops, books, and hours with a brush in my hand later, I now teach watercolor classes myself and still love every moment I spend painting. In addition to painting, I make all of my reproductions myself, from scanning the painting, spending hours in color correction, and making the final prints.
