About

My Irish background has motivated my exploration of Celtic culture, and I've particularly enjoyed learning the myths and listening to the music over the years. These magical elements of the culture (perhaps combined with a love of pubs) helped inspire CelticBelle. I wanted to create and share my one-of-a-kind jewelry and gifts that had a unique Celtic vibe.

I've traveled to some of the "Celtic Nations" over the years, including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Brittany, and have felt a strong kinship to the places I've visited. My Irish background has motivated my exploration of Celtic culture, and I've particularly enjoyed learning the myths and listening to the music over the years.

I had the pleasure of meeting a distant cousin in Ireland who showed me the stone fence that once surrounded my great-great-great granny's home. Looking at that solid structure made me feel incredibly grounded and gave my past a sense of place.

During my travels, I've collected Irish coins and postage stamps, and you'll see many of these in my jewelry designs. Some people ask if these are photocopies and the answer is no. I always use the real thing.

I have enjoyed sharing my creativity by working as a freelance designer and author, designing projects and writing how-to books and articles for the craft industry since 1999.
