About

I find that when people ask what kind of art I make, and I tell them Crafts, I usually have to explain to them that I don't use Popsicle sticks and glitter. What I do use are hammers, chisels, fire, oil, needles and several other tools and materials associated with American Craft.

I am interested in keeping alive the traditions of American Craft whether it be metalsmithing, woodworking, ceramics or fabric arts. I don't want these arts to disappear and so I'm doing my best as an artist as well as a teacher to keep these methods alive in America.

Thank you for visiting my shop and keeping Crafts alive.
