I began taking pictures when film was in vogue. Obviously things have changed a bit. I still have that little pink camera and the other basic film cameras as well. When digital hit the scene I thought how fantastic you can delete on the spot and as long as the batteries are charged you can photograph for hours. Which I have :]
I gravitate towards macro photography. I like the point of view that one doesn't often get to see. Ever notice the tiny hairs stemming from a seed on a strawberry? Neither had I until I photographed it close up. Details like that are what draw me in to find objects to view differently.
I also enjoy landscapes and often do those in black and white to showcase the detail rather than the vast array of colors. However, a vivid blue sky compliments any landscape…
