About

I love creating, shopping for the materials I need and then seeing the finished products.
I sometimes will add a new product to my shop as I go into another direction with my imagination.

My imagination comes from my father (who has passed on). He was always trying to find ways to make things that would be useful to everyone. So when I am thinking and creating it's not just for me it is to try and please as many children, teens, adults as I can.

I learned to crochet/knit when I was a teenager. . My neighbor taught me and I was hooked. When I got engaged I started a queen size crochet blanket for my husband and I. To this day (38 years later) I still have and use the blanket.

I began sewing when my son was 10 years old. I made him elastic shorts in every color available. A few years ago I sewed quillos (blankets) for every person in my family and my husbands family. I loved shopping to pick out the best suited fabric for each person so that it would be personalized just for them. Everyone still has their quillos and still uses them.

BUT, I really got inspired when my granddaughter was born. I made her a crocheted blanket to come home in, which was used until she grew out of it. As she started getting older I decided to sew her a blanket so we could play on the floor or go outdoors. We love having indoor and outdoor picnics and setting up for tea parties. She loved playing with her tea sets and setting the table. So that is when my brain went !!!!!.
We need placemats at our tea parties.

So whether it's tea party time with our beautiful placemats or snuggly up time with our blankets we are always having fun.
