In 1995, while living in Baltimore, I took my first pottery class at Baltimore Clayworks. Little did I know at the time how that class would change my life. A week or two after my first class meeting, I noticed a note on the bulletin board for a used potter’s wheel. I bought it and it’s the wheel I still use. My friends would smile when I told them what I was learning in the pottery class. They mused that I had “mud in my blood.”
Over the years, my life has taken many twists and turns. Even during the years that I was unable to spend time making pottery, I kept in touch via ClayArt, a listserv that connects several thousand potters across the world.
I have finally been able to set up a studio. My friends have encouraged me to sell my pottery. This etsy site is the result.
I hope you enjoy the site. I welcome…
