WELCOME!! I'm Helen and at Cloth & Ink I design and make everything from fabric to finished product.

Working from home, I begin each fabric design with a hand drawn illustration inspired by urban and rural landscapes and the surrounding waters. I then have most of my designs professionally printed. My love of fabrics began at a young age from hanging out in my grandma's fabric store and playing mannequin for my mum who was always sewing something. I guess you can say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! I printed my first textiles in high school which led me to studying textile design and production at university. A few years have passed since then and I've moved a few miles from the UK to the USA. Now I've finally decided it's time to sieze the moment and embrace my love of fabrics.
