My interest in all things old and material has manifested itself in many ways, from building 17th century clothing for Plimoth Plantation and collections work at the Costume Institute (and an MA in Visual Culture) to becoming an expert thrift store rummager and setting up this shop.
Here in Sweden, I am fortunate to have many around me who value their traditions, especially handcraft. These linens are not only finely made and beautiful, but also a connection to hundreds of years of Swedish tradition passed down through able hands.
Whether screenprinted or handwoven, each of these pieces represents many hours of planning, design, creation, and finishing. It is rare that I offer vintage linens made by machine.
