About

Hi! I'm Anne, a full time metalsmith.

Clean, uncluttered designs are what appeal to me most - that is what I find myself wearing and loving.

I apprenticed with some amazing studio jewelers and worked in jewelry repair at the same time. It is a great way to learn. I take classes on techniques that are new to me whenever I can.

For many years I made jewelry for the infinitely talented and creative TenThousandThings gallery in New York.

I am forever grateful for these jewelers and artisans and the experiences of learning with them.

It is important to me that my work be as technically perfect as possible yet clearly handmade.

If you would like more information about the eco-friendly, reclaimed metals and recycled diamonds that I work with please let me know and I will send you some links.

This is so important to me - using recycled metals and ethically sourced gems.

I seek out and work with the best quality gemstones I can find. Natural and untreated stones are simply beautiful.

Rings with flush set diamonds cannot be easily re-sized - please be as sure as possible that you are ordering the correct size - I really suggest visiting jewelry stores and galleries and having a real person determine your size.

I don't trust ways of measuring that involve string or paper - a professional jeweler is really best. Plastic ring sizers are often fine but they have some "give" to them over knuckles and metal will not be the same. Thanks.

You can see my work in a beautiful book called Stonesetting for Contemporary Jewelry Makers by Melissa Hunt.

My BF makes amazing precious metal boxes and great jewelry - his shop is: patcahillmetalworks.etsy.com

My "About Page" has some studio photos and more info.

Please ask any questions you have, I love jewelry and can talk about it all day!

Thank you!

Any questions - please use the "contact" link. Thank you.

My sisters and I have an etsy shop called coolcurios.etsy.com ... there is nothing happening there now but it is a fun thing to do with my sisters.
