Are You Ready to ROCK 'N' ROLL??

Hey there - Are we having fun yet? One of my favorite quotes is "TMF" (too much fun!) Which of course is one of the greatests gifts we have in life. F-U-N

I consider myself to be truly blessed to be able to mentally conceive something and then be able to produce that idea. Is this what's called art? What ever it is, it's fun for me, and I hope you will enjoy it too.

I've been a "street artist" for years. Traveling and doing shows primarily between Florida, Michigan and all parts in between. I've done so many shows in so many towns, that I've lost tract of where I've been. But I really have enjoyed the travel and visiting so many places that I might have never gone. I've been a "street artist" for years. Traveling and doing shows primarily between Florida, Michigan and all parts in between. I've done so many shows in so many towns, that I've lost tract of where I've been. But I really have enjoyed the travel and visiting so many places that I might have never gone. And also to be so lucky to earn a living doing what I love.

I'm self taught and have worked in several medias including, painting, drawing, sculptue, handmade paper, jewelry, etc. and most recently computer graphics. I love all art medias, and there is always something new to be discovered. Presently I am combining various medias with found objects to create my version of Mixed Media Collage.

In the last few years I have been using Classic Rock 'n' Roll (my 2nd love) as a theme. I've always enjoyed this music in my life, and found that it was something that had not been explored artistically in a visual sense.

Also I love to recycle, and can't resist a garage sale, flea market or thrift shop. The most wonderful treasure that I have found are the classic Rock 'n' Roll vinyl albums of that era. While few fans have the equipment available for playing these records, (thanks to our advancing technology) they have been hoarded and stashed away for years preserving those special memories and emotional events that the music represented. I've found that I can incorporate these wonderful albums that were so much a part of our lives into art. Also the "Rock Icons" that were so famous during this time are as popular, and some even more so, when they were actually preforming. Their renegade and outlandish behaviour still is considered to be part of the great history of Rock 'n' Roll. Another significant thing that I have discovered is the music is spanning generations. Many, many younger people share the same love for this music as did thier parents, and grandparents. No Lawrence Welk fans here!
