About

I started making things out of leather about 3 years ago, back when I was living in Minnesota. I have always liked being creative and crafty, working with my hands and making things. It seemed like a lost art, to produce things for yourself and to make the gifts that you give people. One of the gifts that I made was a flogger, it was the first flogger I had ever made. I made it out of recycled leather from a skirt or coat I got from the used clothing store I worked at. Thinking about that now, it seems kinda gross. I made it for my friend and it broke, so I took it back and made him another one, that was stronger leather. (I still have the first one I made)

I made a really bad collar and a pair of really ugly bondage cuffs after going to RenFest and seeing one of the leather booths. For a few months they hung up in my friends alternative retail store. Everyone raved over them, they never sold. The few floggers I made and some spike bracelets did sell however. Then I got the itch to sell the things I make. I have always needed to make things for my sanity.

Then I quit my job at the used clothing store and moved out to NorCal to get away from the snow and ice. After a few months hiatus from crafting and working, I got back on it. I made some little pouches, and started working on a better pair of bondage cuffs. The ones I had made before were all wrong and not usable. I started to study leather, and how to make my cuffs really strong. I got the proper tools and learned how to use them.

Now I have a 2 part store. Color Me Kinky, where I sell kink stuff. And Custom Leather Gear, where I sell everything else. I make Moccasin boots, mittens, pouches, and bondage gear. Never a dull order this way.
