CornflowerCreations' Profile

About

Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Jacklyn. I am married and have three school aged children. I have lived in New Jersey all my life in a small town. God and family are very important to me.

Having children was not an easy road for us, and we lost two babies along the way. You will see this reflected in my products as I carry sympathy handkerchiefs to help easy the pain of others going through loss. Baby items are still dear to me and always will be since each child we had was much prayed for and wanted. I love carrrying them in my shop.

I love all things vintage. My Grandmother was an art collector and antique dealer and I just think it is in my blood. I spend weekends in the summer going to garage sales with my children. I am always on the lookout for vintage patterns…

About

Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Jacklyn. I am married and have three school aged children. I have lived in New Jersey all my life in a small town. God and family are very important to me.

Having children was not an easy road for us, and we lost two babies along the way.

I am always on the lookout for vintage patterns.

My love of embroidery started from a tiny hand embroidered smock that was made for me by a stranger. I was born two months early weighing 2lbs 7 oz back in 1972, when the odds were not good for premies. The doctors did not give my mom good odds. The lady in the hospital bed next to my mother made this tiny smock by hand, embroidered with chicks and flowers for me to cheer up my mother. It now hangs in my sewing room as inspiration.

God Bless, and have fun looking around the shop.
