About

I live in Fargo, ND. I'm originally from a small town in ND, born and raised there. Some winters I wonder why I live here. Other than that I enjoy living in Fargo.

I have two cats and some fish. My oldest cat is diabetic. She's doing well with her insulin. I do a lot of dogsitting for my brother and his wife's dog. Their dog has to stay at their house, I can't have a dog where I live, plus my cats wouldn't appreciate the dog here too much either.

I enjoy cooking, baking, crafting, reading, riding bike, and going for walks. I enjoy bringing baked goods to work for everyone to enjoy once in awhile.

I have always enjoyed doing crafty things when I was younger. I really liked sewing when I was in 7th grade (Home Economics class). I use to do some cross-stitch, woodworking,…

I have always enjoyed doing crafty things when I was younger. I really liked sewing when I was in 7th grade (Home Economics class). I use to do some cross-stitch, woodworking, some crochet, and painted ceramics/wood figurines. Awhile back (not sure how long ago it was) I was introduced to quilting and I fell in love with it. My mom and her mom do sewing. I have a few aunts that do sewing as well. It runs in the family. My mom and my sister-in-law have started quilting now. I'm such a bad influence. Ha. ha!!!!

I work a full-time job during the day and I have a seasonal job in the summer. I try to do as much crafts as I can between then. I obviously get more done in the winter.

I didn't go to school for an art class or anything like that. Things that I learned about crafts that I do I learned from either books or online or from other people who do the same crafts I do.

I recently did a 35-mile bike-a-thon for the American Diabetes Association. It was a lot of work, but I did it! :)
